Gumstix update about COVID-19

As the Coronavirus (COVID-19) begins to have an increased impact on our communities, we wanted to inform you that within our organization, the health and safety of our customers and employees are top of our mind.

Our Management team is monitoring information from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and federal, state and local agencies to help ensure the actions we’re taking are in line with the latest recommendations and guidance.

To align with the recent “Shelter at Home” order mandated by the County of Alameda and Santa Clara, Gumstix Inc. will operate with very limited capacity starting Tuesday 03/17/2020.  Our operations center and much of our supply chain are within this area.

We will work on moving our supply chain out of the area and while we are deeply sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, we strongly believe that this is the right thing to do to ensure the health and well-being of our staff, customers, and community.  We are monitoring the current situation on a daily basis and we will update this post on our operation status accordingly.
