1. “Go Geppetto®” contestant is open to IoT developers using Intel tools and participants at an Intel® Joule™ module Hackathon, Workshop or Webinars.
  2. All hardware designs submitted for “Go Geppetto®”must be 100% created in Geppetto® and must be designed to support an Intel® Joule™ module.
  3. “Go Geppetto” must be included in the first line of the board description for the Geppetto hardware design to be entered and considered for the competition.
  4. “Go Geppetto®” hardware design entry is limited to one Geppetto hardware design per person.
  5. All “Go Geppetto®” hardware designs must be received by Friday, January 13,th, 2017 before 11:59 pm PDT to qualify for participation in the competition and judging.
  6. One Grand Prize winner will have their Geppetto hardware design manufactured and tested. They will receive two production ready boards delivered for free by Gumstix, a $2000 manufacturing fee value.
  7. Five Get to Market prizes each consisting of a $1,000 manufacturing fee credit and two production ready boards of their Geppetto hardware design will be awarded to each of the 5 runner up “Go Geppetto®” hardware design entries.
  8. All valid “Go Geppetto®”hardware design entries will be eligible for a free one hour design consult with Gumstix Engineers when requested according to guidelines.
  9. Judging will be completed by Friday, Jan. 27th at 11:59 AM PDT. A Grand Prize winner and five runner up winners will be posted thereafter on the Gumstix website; all winners will also be notified by the email entered upon Geppetto account registration.
  10. Shipping and handling of finished hardware design will be free of charge for winners within the United States only. International shipping and duties will be not be paid by Gumstix; international winners are responsible for the cost of shipping, handling, fees, duties and taxes to be prepaid by credit card where applicable.
  11. All emails provided during Geppetto account registration will be used only for the purpose of announcing winners of the contest unless users request to receive future communications from Gumstix, Inc.
  12. All winners agree to have their projects included in Go Geppetto winner announcements posted on Gumstix website and social media and marketing materials.
  13. Winners will be selected by Gumstix Engineers and Intel Developers. Contest winner and finalist will be announced on Monday, Jan. 30th and receive boards in February 2017.
