Pricing: Volume Orders
Discounting is offered on a per order basis. For example, an order that includes 1,000 Overo or verdex pro COMs receives a quanity discount for 1,000 units.
In a volume order of 120 COMs or more, a customer may customize any Overo COM with extended temperature components.

Obtaining a Quote for a Volume Order:
1.If you do not already have an account at www.gumstix.com , please first establish an account.
2. Send an email to sales@gumstix.com indicating:
(a) your desired Gumstix product(s)
(b) quantities of each product
(c) desired order options
Customers may customize any Overo COM with extended temperature components.
A quotation will be emailed to you within two (2) business days.
Once Gumstix, Inc. receives your 35% order confirmation payment, the quote is considered a “placed volume order".
Order Options
There are several volume build options available:
Pre-flash of Customer Code
Customer code can be pre-flash on each Overo or verdex pro COM.
Cost for pre-flashing is $0.70 per COM
Note: the serial console port output must be "enabled" in customer code for testing purposes during the Gumstix manufacturing process.
For a volume order of 120 Overo COM with ETC or more, select from:
Overo Fire COM (600MHz) built with ETC
Overo Air COM (600MHz) built with ETC
plus U.FL Antenna, as needed
Overo Water COM (600MHz) built with ETC
Overo Earth COM (600MHz) built with ETC
Custom Component Specification - Price Reductions
For volume orders only, the price of a computer-on-module can be reduced by requesting specific component(s) not be installed, as follows:

An "Order confirmation payment" of 35% is required to place a volume quotation into an active order. "Full payment" of the order’s remaining total amount (the remaining 65%) is required prior to order shipment.
Each payment and purchase is NCNR: "non-cancellable, non-returnable".
NOTE: Purchase orders are not accepted. Payments must be made by wire transfer.
Customers wanting to make a volume purchase with payment terms may wish to contact a Value Added Reseller.
• Volume orders take approximately 6-8 weeks from the date on which the required 35% order confirmation payment is received by Gumstix, Inc.
• The 65% pre-shipment payment will be requested by Gumstix Sales just prior to the completion of the product manufacturing and testing.
• Once pre-shipment payment is received by Gumstix, Inc. and the manufacturing & testing has been completed, the volume order will be shipped.
